World Cup Diary – Day 8

Day 8 and there’s not a lot to report I have to say, I’m becoming not very fond of Sao Paulo in this World Cup situation, despite the city being the biggest in South American, everyone is very wary of safety issue and very cautious at night, so with that I’m feeling a bit contained at the moment, there’s not a huge amount of England fans here yet, or if there is no one can find each other, but I’m expecting that to change tomorrow as plenty of fans fly in from UK and Rio for the crunch game.

There’s not a lot new to mention today apart from watching all the games in bars with my mates and having a great laugh.
One mention has to go to though to this great bar we found whilst searching in Augusta area for a place to watch the Brazil game, a cigar bar had a empty upstairs room apart from 3 England fans who had been lucky enough to discover it before us. Sofas and armchairs with table service throughout the match, it was like watching it in the comfort of your own home. We ending up staying there the majority of the day and no doubt will be back.

More to write home about tomorrow I promise…
